Dandara Living
The Armed Forces Covenant is a pledge that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in their communities, economy, and society.
Over 10,000 organisations, including businesses, local authorities, and charities, have already signed this pledge – and we are pleased to be joining their ranks.
Our decision to support this initiative was galvanised by our recent engagement with Project RECCE, a charity dedicated to helping military veterans and service leavers transition to civilian life.
Members of our team had the privilege of meeting Mrs Diane Hawkins, His Majesty's Lord Lieutenant for Greater Manchester, at RECCE HQ and discussing the incredible work this organisation does for the Greater Manchester area.
As a company, we understand the unique challenges that veterans and service leavers face when transitioning to civilian life, and we see the immense benefits that their skills, experiences, and values could bring to our business.
Jim Davies - CEO Dandara Living
Dandara Living's commitment has been recognised by the Lord Lieutenant to uphold the key principles of the Covenant. This includes promoting and supporting the employment of veterans and service leavers, and offering flexibility in our policies to accommodate the needs of service spouses and partners. We are also very proud to have a number of veterans and service leavers in our employment already.
Leodis Square is developed and operated by Dandara Living, the rental division of the Dandara Group.
